Coffee Bean's Story
Hi, my name is Coffee Bean! I'm a PURPLE pawprint, which means I will fit well into a home that meets some specific criteria. Here is what would work best for me in my new home:
-Personality: Affectionate, Charming, A lil' shy
-Can Live with Cats: Unknown, likely OK with a slow introduction
-Can Live with Dogs: Unknown, possibly a very calm dog and introduced slowly
-Can Live with Kids: Maybe with cat-savvy kids! She's a bit shy and might be startled by small energetic children
-Needs Indoor Only Home: Would be best as an indoor cat
-History of Litter Box Issues: None
-Energy Level: Low/medium
-Bite History: None
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Yes, a spay and microchip at WHS
Additional Information:
Coffee Bean is a sweet girl who came to the shelter as a mom of three boys, who she did an amazing job of raising in her foster home. Her foster mom says she is very sweet--she is very shy and nervous at the shelter but when she gets out of here she promises to be your bestie.
There is some thinning hair on Coffee Bean, our vet says that it's a mild flea allergy and stress from nursing/raising her little ones. Coffee Bean should always be kept current on flea medication (even if she is an indoor cat) to prevent any possible allergic reactions to fleas.

If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website (www.whatcomhumane.org/adopt) or in person at our facility. We recommend calling into the shelter after your application has been submitted so our front desk can give you next steps on our adoption process.
