What is Central Dakota Humane Society’s adoption process?

ADOPTION PROCESS Dog adoptions: Adopters are required to visit dogs at the shelter at least twice. If adopters have a current dog, they are asked to bring the dog for a visit as well. All family members need to visit the dog before adoption is approved. Cat adoptions: Adopters are required to visit cats at the shelter at least once. Applications must be filled out at the shelter. References will be checked before adoption is approved. Please note that the Central Dakota Humane Society reserves the right to refuse adoption of animals to anyone. WE WILL NOT SHIP ANIMALS. OUR ADOPTION POLICY REQUIRES ADOPTERS TO VISIT PETS AT OUR SHELTER IN MANDAN, ND.
