Cocoa's Story

Meet Cocoa 🐾🤎✨

Cocoa is a gentle, soft-hearted girl who's finally ready for a peaceful life of her own 💕 This sweet mama traveled a long way searching for somewhere safe to rest and raise her kittens, and thanks to that journey, her babies are now grown and ready for homes of their own 🥹 Now that Cocoa has been spayed, it's finally *her* turn to be cared for, cherished, and safe for the rest of her life 🏡💛

Cocoa is shy at first, especially in the busy shelter environment, which makes her too nervous to fully show the loving cat she truly is. But her foster mom says that with a little time and patience, Cocoa blossoms into an incredibly affectionate companion who bonds deeply with her person 🌙✨ Once she trusts you, she's wonderfully loving and sweet.

She's submissive and gentle with other cats, making her a good fit for calm feline companions who won't bully or overwhelm her 🐱💕 We don't yet know how she feels about kids or dogs, but Cocoa would likely thrive best in a quieter, calmer home where she can feel secure and relaxed.

If you're the kind of person who understands the beauty of earning a shy cat's trust, Cocoa is ready to give her whole heart to someone special 😻

Cocoa's adoption fee is $75.

She is spayed, tested negative for Felv/FIV, vaccinated, flea & tick treated, microchipped and given dewormer.

Our cat adoption process is open and straightforward! Stop by the shelter to meet our wonderful cats and find the one that steals your heart. Adoptions are handled on a first-come, first-adopt basis.

We're open Monday through Friday from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM and Saturday from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
