Coco's Story
Meet Coco - An Affectionate Girl with a Strong Personality

Coco is a 9-year-old girl who was surrendered to our shelter at the beginning of the year. She is a self-assured, affectionate cat with a personality that is entirely her own. She loves spending time with her people, but she also values her independence. She certainly has no trouble letting you know which mood she's in. With Coco, affection is something to be earned and appreciated, which makes it more meaningful when she chooses to seek you out.

She is an endlessly curious cat who takes a keen interest in everything around her. Coco will be the first to investigate a new object, an open door, or the cardboard box you are trying to recycle. Despite being 9 years old, it doesn't stop the zoomies from taking over. Expect a burst of energy in the early afternoon and again right before bed. She's a girl that sticks to her schedule! Outside of those moments, she is happy to settle into a calm, comfortable routine.

Coco would do best as the only pet in a quiet adult home. She is confident enough to communicate her boundaries clearly, so she will thrive most with someone who respects her independent nature and appreciates a cat with a little character.

If you appreciate a cat who is affectionate on her own terms and full of personality, she might be exactly what you are looking for.

As we are closed to the public, adoptions are by appointment only. If you're interested in meeting Coco, please fill out our online adoption application (https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/MWHS/Cat). We will review all applications and make appointments for those applicants we feel would provide a good and loving home for Coco.
