CLYDE's Story

Meet Clyde Clyde is a 7-year-old sweetheart with a gentle soul who's looking for someone to give him a second chance. Clyde first came to the Pet Adoption Center after being surrendered because he was no longer getting along with another cat in the home and had stopped using the litterbox, despite having lived with other cats his entire life. Once he arrived at PAC, our veterinary team discovered he had a urinary tract infection and treated him with antibiotics—likely explaining the sudden change in his litterbox habits. After taking some time to decompress from the stress of shelter life, Clyde found a home and was adopted on December 8, 2025. Unfortunately, he was returned on June 1, 2026, through no fault of his own. His previous adopter describes Clyde as a sweet, cuddly, and quiet companion. He's an affectionate cat who forms strong bonds with his people and loves spending time close to them. Clyde isn't interested in sharing his home with other cats and would do best as your one and only feline friend, where he can soak up all the love and attention. One thing to know about Clyde is that shelter life is hard on him. The busy, noisy environment causes him a great deal of stress, making it difficult for his true personality to shine. Once he's back in a calm home, he's a loving companion who just wants a peaceful place to relax and someone to cuddle with. If you're looking for a quiet, loyal best friend who deserves another chance, Clyde is waiting to meet you. Could you be the one to show him that home is forever?
