Clowder (w/Wayfarer)'s Story

Clowder and Wayfarer are sweet, affectionate, timid girls who would love to be adopted together. They are shy at first, but will warm up and show you how much love they have to give and what fun personalities they have. They also love other cats so it's a big 'love fest' in their foster home (see videos). They just need a chance.
Great with other cats: Both are curious and friendly with the other cats they've been fostered with. They rub up against them and “head butt” them, which is a sign of affection and friendship. Personality: Once these girls warm up to you, they are very affectionate. They run to greet their foster mom and rub against her legs to be petted. They have even started climbing into their foster mom's lap to be petted.
Clowder can be picked up and held briefly, but Wayfarer doesn't like to be picked up and will quickly scramble down.
Both love active play with wand toys and other toys. They both enjoy dry treats, while only Wayfarer loves Churu squeezable treats. They are both still timid and would do best in a home with a person or family who is understanding of their nature and is patient as they adjust.
Background: They came to FURR after being found in a cage with 4 other cats outside at a warehouse storage center. Someone had dumped them without food or water in the hot sun. Luckily, they were found in time and came into our rescue. Charms and Foundling, who were part of the 6 found together, are available for adoption in another foster home. The other 2 of the 6 cats have already been adopted. Appearance: Both have beautiful markings, a pattern called a 'classic' tabby, with dark swirls. They look a lot alike, except Wayfarer has more white on her and has darker markings than Clowder.
View the full bio/profile and photos/videos HERE:
https://www.felineurbanrescueandrehab.org/animals/detail?AnimalID=21967309

All FURR Cats & Kittens are seen by a vet before being posted online and have been:

Spayed / Neutered to help control the pet population
Microchipped to help ensure your best friend can be brought home if lost.
Vaccinated; FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia) & Rabies (which is legally required in most states). These will need to be kept current after adoption.
Tested Negative for FIV & FELV unless otherwise noted on their profile
Treated with de-wormer, anti-parasitics, flea baths & prevention, ear mites and anything else our vet deems needed for good health. This can sometimes include antibiotics and eye/upper respiratory medicines, etc.
Many of our fosters also use pre/probiotics and vitamins to fully support their tiny immune systems during transitions.

---To meet any of our cats please fill out our adoption application to be approved.
