CLOVE's Story

Meet Clove Clove is one of those cats who quietly steals your heart once she feels safe. Away from the stress of other cats and the shelter environment, she transforms into an incredibly loving, gentle companion. This sweet girl absolutely adores attention. Give her some one-on-one time, pets, and playtime and she lights up with happiness. In foster, she was so excited to be loved on that she would literally shake with joy. She isn’t demanding or wild about it either... just deeply grateful for kindness and comfort. Clove would do best as the only cat in the home. Other cats make her anxious, but when she has her own peaceful space, her affectionate personality truly shines. She may hiss if touched near her back end or tail, likely because of discomfort or sensitivity there, but it’s never aggressive. She’s simply communicating her boundaries the best way she can. Even then, Clove remains a gentle soul who just wants to feel safe and understood. What Clove needs most is a calm home, patience, and someone willing to see the loving cat underneath the shelter stress. Once she trusts you, she has so much love to give.
