The skies may be gray, but Cloudy will light up your life.

This spunky lady is a gorgeous mixture of cookies and cream fur and brilliant green eyes. She is curious and quiet, at times a bit goofy, but she also needs her own space. She has a fondness for her cozy bed and a sunny window.

Cloudy tugs at our hearts. Brought to this shelter as a young kitten with her siblings back in 2010, she was quickly adopted and lived with her new family for seven years until the family's health prevented them from being able to care for her. They surrendered her to the shelter this past fall in hopes that a new forever family could take her under their wings.

Her previous family described her as "quiet and reserved" and explained that she did not mind being picked up or brushed. In the shelter environment, however, she has been quite stressed and is quiet and nervous in her pen. In fact, the longer she is here, the more unpresentable she has become in her pen. (So please do not let that phase you; many pets are unsettled in their pens.) We are eager for her to find her new forever home so that she can re-adjust and let her real personality shine. Her previous family also said that her favorite things included balls, soft toys, and string.

Cloudy has a history of urinary crystals, so we use and recommend c/d dry food (it is specially formulated for kitties with urinary discomfort). She has responded well to it here at the shelter. Your vet will also be able to recommend any further treatment if necessary.

Cloudy is hopefully awaiting her new forever family and home. She can not wait to finally sleep and relax, surrounded by comfort and loving surroundings. She's ready for a visit in Pen 27.
