Cleopatra's Story

Cleopatra - DSH Tortishell Calico female, ~ 2-3 yr. (August 2025)
Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for an application
Cleopatra came to rescue when found as a stray by a small rural town Humane Society volunteer. Here is what her foster mom tells us about her!
"Meet Cleopatra – A One-of-a-Kind Tortie Beauty ?? This gorgeous tortie girl has the most beautiful, unique features that make her truly stand out.

She’s also very vocal and loves to “chat” with you — especially when it’s mealtime! She will happily sit by her food dish and call out to let you know she’s ready to eat. She’s incredibly sweet and affectionate with adults, enjoying companionship and attention.

Cleopatra would do best in a quiet home without young children, as she can be a little uneasy around them. She also prefers to be the only pet in the home — she loves her humans but isn’t a fan of other animals.

She does have a sensitive stomach and has been diagnosed with IBS, so she needs a family willing to be mindful of her diet and the medication she needs. Certain foods can upset her tummy more than others, but with the right diet, she does very well. Her originally family who rescued her and fell in love, ultimately adopting her unfortunately due to circumstances out of my control, cannot keep her.

She deserves a loving, stable family who will give her the care and companionship she thrives on. If you’re looking for a sweet, talkative, and stunning companion to share your home with — and you can give her the special care she needs — this tortie beauty may just be your perfect match."

Cleopatra's adoption fee is $150 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption.
