Clementine is such a cute name. He is also a very very shy boy in need!<br/><br/>Clementine came into the shelter with a group of cats from a home with too many animals, which is why he is so nervous of humans. He's estimated to be a year old (which hopefully means he will be more likely to learn to socialize with people than perhaps an older cat that had little interaction with humans). He is featured in his photo with another tabby who resides in his room (along with a few other cats from the home).<br/><br/>Clementine seems to enjoy the company of other cats so it might be helpful if a potential adopter had a friendly cat to show him the ropes and teach him people are good! Cats as fearful as him generally struggle with the presence of a dog (unless it's one that's old and leaves them alone completely, then there would be potential Clementine could feel safe and adjust slowly). They tend to benefit from quiet homes.<br/><br/>He will need to start in one room or a small space while he gets to know you (that way he will hide in comfortable spots you create and not behind the desk).
