Clementine's Story

Clementine is a sweet, young little lady. She is approximately 8 to 10 months old. Clem (she is used to being called) came to Cause for Paws by the way of Honduras. We sometimes work with an organization that rescues cats and kittens in their country. Clem is now a citizen of Minnesota. She gets along with the other cats in her foster home and even the dogs too. Clem is very energetic and loves to play by herself with all the cat toys available to her. Her favorite toy is little springs. She will bat them around, throw them in the air and promptly lose them under the furniture. At bedtime she will sometimes curl up by her foster mom in bed. Clem is not a fan of being carried around or held for a long time. After all she is a very busy girl and needs to keep track of what is going on. She loves to know what is going on and will follow you around. With Clem a scratching post is a must. If you do not have something appropriate for her to scratch on, she will scratch your furniture. She has not been around children so we don't know how she will do with them. She cannot go to a home with children under the age of 8 years due to her interest in looking out the door. She is what we call a door dasher. Clem would love to have a family of her own. Could it be you? If you are interested in meeting her, please call our voicemail at 952-259-1483 and leave your name and telephone number or send us an email at cause4paws@hotmail.com Her adoption fee is $225 (includes tax)

The application gives us an opportunity to learn more about the potential adopter and whether or not the cat that they are interested in would be a good match. There is also an adoption contract that is completed at the time of the adoption. Because we are an all-volunteer organization, we typically will respond to an inquiry within 24 to 48 hours.
