Cleatus's Story

Hi… um… hello. My name is Cleatus. Yeah, I know, it’s a name you don’t forget.

I didn’t always have a soft place to land or someone to hear my little meow. I was out there on my own, doing my best to survive… even though something about me wasn’t quite right. A kind human noticed I was struggling… especially with my tail… and decided I deserved a chance. That’s how I found my way here.

Turns out… I had a lot going on. My tail wasn’t really a tail at all… it was deformed and causing me a whole lot of trouble back there. And… well… my plumbing was a little backwards too. Yeah. I was kind of a mess.
But not anymore.

The amazing humans here got me all fixed up. Now I’ve got what they call a “bunny butt”… and let me tell you… it is adorable.

Everything works the way it should now, and I feel better than I ever have in my whole life.
I’m a handsome white and gray tabby with the softest, plushest fur you’ll ever feel… like petting a little velvet bunny. And I love being petted. I soak it all up and will absolutely meow to let you know I’m not done yet. I’ve been told I’m a bit of an attention hog… but I think I’m just making up for lost time.

I love comfy beds, soaking in the sunshine, and just being cute (which, honestly, comes naturally). I also get along great with other cats, so I wouldn’t mind having some friends in my forever home.

I’ll be honest… when I first get somewhere new, I might hide for a bit. It’s a big world, and I’m still learning it’s not so scary anymore. But if you give me a little patience and a lot of love… I promise I’ll show you just how sweet, affectionate, and wonderfully unique I really am.

So if you’re looking for a soft, cuddly, bunny-butted boy who will adore you endlessly… I might just be your guy.

You can come meet me daily from 1–5pm.
I’ll be the one soaking up the sun… and waiting for you.

I am fully vetted: neutered, microchipped, FIV & FeLV negative, treated for fleas/ticks/and intestinal parasites, and up-to-date on all my vaccinations: distemper, rabies, and FeLV. I require an indoor-only home and, as with all cats — absolutely no declawing.

If you are interested in adopting Cleatus, please come visit… we are open daily from 1-5pm (including holidays)… we need to meet you in person! If you have any questions, feel free to email us at info@furballcats.com or message us on Facebook: Furball Farm Cat Sanctuary.
