Clayton's Story

Meet Clayton! Clayton is a very special boy. When he first came to us as a little baby, he couldn't even walk. He would wobble from side to side and tip over. His head and legs would tremble, and he didn't seem to have much sense of balance. However, although he was very scared, he was sweet as could be, and never so much as growled or hissed.

Many tests and scans later, we unfortunately were not able to find a cause for his issues. However, as he grew older, his symptoms began to wane. Today, Clayton does still have trembling in his legs, especially when he is anxious, and he does sometimes wobble, but he is able to walk, climb, and play like his foster siblings.

Clayton is an extremely sweet boy. He's very quiet and patient. He won't shove his way to the front of the line for pets, but will sit and wait his turn. He loves head scritches and nose-to-tail strokes. He enjoys his butt scratches, too. Sometimes he'll wiggle and roll around from pure joy. He likes toys, especially cat teasers. He loves wet food. Most of all, he loves other cats. He made quick friends with his foster siblings, and enjoys snuggling and playing with them. He even tolerated being pounced and chewed on by the youngest of the bunch.

Clayton doesn't have a mean or grumpy bone in his body. He just rolls with the punches, whatever may come. Clayton a little different from a normal cat, but he is perfect in all the ways that matter.

Clayton does great with other cats. Due to his anxiety, he would probably do best with older (10+) children. He has not been tested with dogs.

Clayton is estimated to be 2 years old as of March 2026. He has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. With an approved application, his adoption fee is $79.50.

If you are interested in adopting this particular dog or puppy, please see our Adoption Guidelines at http://www.humanesocietyall.com/applications/ .
