Clay's Story
Clay is currently in foster care and ready for adoption via our virtual process!

Clay, a 1 1/2-year-old male, just arrived and is still getting settled in, so we're just beginning to learn who they are. Right now, everything is new-new people, new sounds, new routines-and we're giving them time to relax, decompress, and show us their true personality at their own pace.

Here's what we know so far about his time in foster care: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1L2tQxJLhptvo8L1S884xaugmH3K2xwHO/view?usp=drive_link

Clay will appreciate a calm and slow introduction to his new environment. He is very sweet and gentle. His foster says "Clay loves getting pets and will even ask you to keep petting him by putting his paw on your hand. He is a shy boy that doesn't like noises or quick/sudden movements. Even if he's on the fearful side, he never bit us or swiped his paw at us. He's a sweet kitty." He is playful and cute.

He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and has had preventative treatments to ensure he is ready for his next steps.

Submit an adoption survey from above and our team will reach out via phone or email (check spam) to schedule a counseling call. For any additional questions, please contact fosternyc@bestfriends.org.

Please remember, pets cannot be held or reserved.
