Hi - My name is Clare, as in (County) Clare. I'm one of the "bar flies". I was born in the attic of a local bar with the rest of my litter mates. Fortunately, an observant neighbor saw my mom sneaking in & out and alerted a rescue organization. <br/><br/>I was the smallest kitten in my litter, but I soon caught up to the rest. I'm a soft grey dilute tabby with a little dusting of gold. I'm not quite as rambunctious as my siblings. I'm the first to call quits on the roughhousing in favor of a good cuddle and a warm lap. I may be pint-sized, but my purr is BIG. And I am not afraid to use it. I'm kind of a Velcro kitty, although I do like exploring - closets, cupboards, even the dishwasher. I like jumping for the teaser wand & batting around soft sparkly balls. And that laser dot drives me crazy. <br/><br/>I'm a pro at the litter box. I'm good with adult cats; there is a grumpy adult cat here, but she was no match for my kitten persistence. Now we snuggle. There is a small dog here also, who is annoying but harmless, so I mostly ignore her. I'm not sure how I'd do with a big dog, but as long as the dog is willing to respect my essential catness, I'm sure well be friends. I love people, so be prepared to be won over when you meet me.
