Clara's Story

Hello, my name is Clara, and I'm so happy to meet you! I have to admit, I'm a bit shy at first—like a shy melody waiting for the perfect moment to shine. When I first arrived at the shelter, I was nervous and unsure about everything around me. But the kind staff here have helped me realize that this is a safe place, and I've started to come out of my shell little by little. These days, when someone approaches my space, I gather up my courage and come right up to greet them with soft meows and gentle head bumps. I absolutely love a good petting session, and I've discovered that human attention is one of my favorite things in the whole world. I'm working on building my confidence every single day, and I'd love to do that in a calm, patient home where I can continue to blossom at my own pace.
How did I get here? Transferred from Wake County Animal Center.

*I’m living behind the scenes, please fill out an adoption survey if you’re interested in meeting me.*

~My adoption fee is $65.00.~
