Claire Pearl, our little humpty dumpty cat that has been put back together since December!💖<br/><br/>Claire is about 1 year old, spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. She is FeLV/FIV negative as well. Claire loves to be a lap cat! She is also becoming more playful now that she can run around again! Claire does not like other cats we have learned since she has been back at the shelter.<br/><br/>Claire had significant trauma back in December. She has had a couple of surgeries and is doing much better. However, some of her abdominal muscles have healed in an unusual way but she is not in pain.<br/><br/>Claire will have to stay on a specific diet (Royal Canin Hydrolyzed), which can only be purchased through a vet office. She will need to remain on this diet long-term, although a veterinarian may guide a careful transition in the future if appropriate. Claire also gets Miralax in her water bowl in the mornings 🙂 😅<br/><br/>Due to Claire Pearl's previous injuries, she occasionally will have soft stools or have accidents outside of the litter box if she is far away from one. Her foster home had several litter boxes for her which helped a lot.<br/><br/>Claire is considered a special needs kitty, but her needs are not farfetched. Come meet her in person and we can talk about her history! 💜<br/><br/>Claire is $40 to adopt. Bring a cat carrier if you plan on adopting.
