Cirie's Story

Meet Cirie

Cirie may have come from a difficult beginning, but she's made it very clear she's not one to hide in the shadows. Rescued from a hoarding situation with over 100 cats, Cirie has shown us she's the confident, curious, and protective type-the kitty who likes to know what's going on and keep an eye on her friends.

She's playful, intelligent, and always interested in exploring her surroundings. Cirie is what we'd call a "confident but conflicted" cat: she enjoys being near people and engaging with the world, but she still needs an adopter who understands that trust can take time and that she may have moments where she needs space and patience.

One thing we know for sure: Cirie must go to a home with another social cat. She thrives with feline companionship and takes comfort in having a confident cat friend around. She would not do well as an only pet.

Because of her background and personality, Cirie is looking for an adult-only home with adopters who are patient, cat-savvy, and willing to let her settle in at her own pace. In the right environment, we think this smart, spirited girl will continue to blossom into an incredibly rewarding companion.

If you're interested in adopting, please fill out an adopter profile at www.parl.org/adopt and email hmaclellan@parl.org for more information!
