Cinder's Story

Meet Cinder. He came to The Feline Connection after being found off the highway with quills embedded and severely underweight. Cinder took awhile to come out of his shell, but his foster gave him plenty of time and space to feel safe and comfortable. Cinder has recently started to seek affection, and now that he has, he really enjoys being pet, even belly rubs! He is also fond of toys and soft beds. Cinder does seem to be good with other cats, though he's mostly neutral with them; Cinder doesn’t necessarily engage in play with them, but likes to be near other felines, and they seem to give him confidence. He doesn’t like dogs, and is better with calm, older children. Cinder is very food motivated! Does Cinder sound like a good fit for your home and family? If so, please apply to adopt today!

Learn more about Cinder, The Feline Connection, and apply to adopt on The Feline Connection’s website: www.thefelineconnection.org/cats-seeking-homes/
_____________________
--ABOUT THE FELINE CONNECTION---
The Feline Connection 501(c)(3) is a foster-driven cat rescue in the Rutland, VT area. The Feline Connection's Adoption Policy
The Feline Connection champions for cats who need homes and we are committed to finding each cat a safe and healthy permanent home. We work to find the best possible home matches for each of our stray, homelss or friendly colony cats based on their unique needs, and the needs of the adopter. We do not have a shelter location, so all of our animals are fostered with families in Rutland County, Vermont, mostly near Rutland. This gives us a unique capability to observe and interact with each cat in a relaxed home environment. Our conversation based adoption process starts with submitting an application followed by a conversation, vet and landlord check (if needed), and then cats visits and home visits as needed for the perfect match. Pictures of the cat’s new home are always welcome. Visit us at http://www.thefelineconnection.org/ for more details
