Chynne's Story

Hello! My name is Chynne and I was surrendered to PAWS-OK by a great young lady from northern rural Oklahoma. She was caring for me when I was very small and when she took be to the vet I tested positive for FIV and they advised euthanizing me! She was very persistent (thank you VERY MUCH) in contacting rescues in her area (who also suggested euthanasia) then she heard about PAWS-OK. They advised her that at such a young age, FIV testes were sometime false positive and agreed to take me. Sure enough, when I got older I tested FIV NEGATIVE! The rest is history!
