Chris's Story

Meet Chris! This sweet gal was stuck up in a tree at Chicago Animal Care and Control for several days in early December before our Executive Director, Jenny Schlueter, and Naperville Tree Care came to her rescue and were able to get her down! She is now healthy and ready to find her forever loving home where she will be safe and warm forever! Chris is spayed, up-to-date on her FVRCP and Rabies vaccines and she is FIV and FeLV negative. Chris is staying at PetSmart in Northbrook. Head there to go visit during their open hours through the windows but please email cats@heartlandanimalshelter.org to schedule a time to meet them! PetSmart Northbrook is located at 291 Skokie Blvd, Northbrook, IL 60062 and is open Monday - Saturday 9am-8pm and Sunday 10am-7pm.
