Chopstick's Story
Chopstick has already overcome more than most cats ever should. When she was just a kitten, she was found outside, dragging her back legs after she was likely hit by a car. Thankfully, she was brought to our veterinarian, where X-rays revealed a fractured pelvis. After surgery and plenty of time to heal, Chopstick has made a full recovery. She walks, jumps and plays as if nothing happened.

After everything she's been through, it's no surprise that Chopstick is a shy, reserved girl. She takes her time learning to trust new people, but patience and kindness go a long way. While she isn't the type to demand attention or curl up in your lap, she likes being near her people, quietly observing the world around her (and perhaps silently judging you).
One thing that always brings out her fun side is playtime! Chopstick loves chasing dangly feather toys and has an adorable playful streak once she feels comfortable. She also can't resist lickable treats like Churus-they're the fastest way to win her heart. After she's gotten to know you, she accepts gentle affection and pets.

Chopstick gets along well with other cats and would likely enjoy having a feline friend to help her feel at home.

Chopstick's story is one of resilience. All she needs now is someone willing to give her the time, patience, and love she's waited so long to find.
