Many mobile home parks have their own rules (such as size restrictions), so please check with the park manager before attempting to adopt. Many cities have pet ordinances that must be followed. These include proper vaccinations and licensing. Some communities may restrict the number of pets allowed in each household. Be sure to check your local ordinances before attempting to adopt. All adoptions must be done by the person the pet will be living with most of the time. We do not allow pets to be adopted as gifts for other people. You may, however, pay the adoption fee for a pet, and we will provide a “gift certificate,” which allows the recipient to adopt without additional cost. To adopt, the recipient must meet the guidelines listed above. Adoption fees are non-refundable.
