Chloe

Chloe arrived at the San Diego Humane Society as a stray. Shelter staff reported that she was very sweet and calm and came out to greet her caregiver. She leaned in to pets and coexisted nicely with other cats. After Chloe wasn't claimed, we welcomed her as a Frosted Feline on April 21st. Estimated to be 16 years old and weighing 12 pounds, this beautiful girl has been through a lot.<br/><br/>With the care of our veterinary team, Chloe has recovered from an upper respiratory infection, dehydration, and even ringworm. Once she began feeling better, Chloe blossomed. She no longer hid chose to relax on the couch with our volunteers. <br/><br/>Chloe recently headed off to a loving foster home for a well-deserved break from the FFF cattery while she waits for her forever family. We're so excited for her to enjoy some extra love, comfort, and attention. Here's the latest update from her foster mom:<br/><br/>"Chloe has settled in even more over the past week, our third week fostering her. She has started to explore the upstairs and found a new favorite box, though she does choose to stay in her usual spot in the downstairs bedroom most of the time. <br/><br/>Chloe doesn't necessarily love other cats, but isn't bothered by them either as long as she has some space. We were able to integrate her with our resident cats quite quickly, and yesterday, for the first time she joined the other cats in the kitchen to beg as we were getting breakfast ready. <br/><br/>Chloe is a sweet cat with a sassy little meow when she wants something (usually food.) She keeps to herself much of the time but likes when you come to her and give her some pets and scratches. As she is continuing to eat well, her fur has gotten much softer! She prefers wet food but will nibble on kibble here and there."<br/><br/>Chloe is ready to meet the person who will give her a loving home for her golden years.
