Our adoption policies are designed to ensure that every cat is placed into a safe, stable, and loving home. We require a veterinary reference as well as personal references, ideally two from individuals who are not related to the adopter, to help us understand an adopter’s history of responsible pet care. When applicable, we also require proof of landlord permission to confirm that pets are allowed in the residence. These steps help us make thoughtful and well informed placements that support the long term well being of each cat.
