Hello- my name is Chilli! I was rescued with a group of other kittens from an overcrowded county animal shelter. Now, GOFAR is helping us find our very own families! I am a beautiful tabby girl, estimated at just shy of 4 months old. I get along well with other kittens, but do have a little bit of a bossy attitude. I love cuddling when I am in the mood- young children might not understand this tho? I guess you can say I'm an independent kitten who lives by my own terms! 1) Submit application 2) Application is reviewed for completeness and assigned to an adoption coordinator 3) Adoption coordinator verifies critical information on the application, contacts references and ensures that the requested animal is a good fit for the family 4) Adoption coordinator, in conjunction with rescue management, approves or denies application 5) Upon notification of approval, an adoption coordinator works with foster and adopter to set up an adoption appointment to bring your new family member home! We strive to work through adoption applications as soon as we can. We are 100% volunteer-based so it can take a day or two to complete the review. This also depends on the response time of your references. Should you change your mind or adopt a different animal after submission, please inform us so we do not spend unnecessary time on your application.
