Chickpea's Story
DOB 3/30/26

Chickpea is an adorable little girl with a lot of spunk! And we mean spunk as in ENERGY! Chickpea would appreciate an adopter who will frequently pick up a wand toy and engage in playing with her! She loves to chase and hop after a moving target. And she's super fun to watch while she's going crazy, so it's a win win! When she gets amped up she hops around a lot.

We've also discovered Chickpea really enjoys Cat TV videos on Youtube. (Bird videos, etc.) But beware, she will pounce at your screen!

Having another younger cat or kitten in her forever home would be a huge plus to help keep her occupied as a higher energy kitten. She'd love to be adopted with one of her siblings, if her future forever home doesn't already have another cat for her to play with!

Chickpea has gotten a bit more vocal as she's grown, but she only meows when she's really excited, or when she realizes she doesn't have any buddies around and is looking for a friend.

She is also super cuddly, if she's not playing. She purrs almost constantly and she likes to burrow. Either into the crook of your arm, or under a blanket. She likes her snug little spaces! We've found her wedged underneath pillows on the couch and squeezed underneath dressers. If you have reclining furniture in the house, please be very aware of where she is before you recline!

She also loves curling up with her littermates. They almost always all sleep together in a cuddle puddle.

Chickpea does have just a hint of timidness in her nature. She's usually very social, but certain things just seem to catch her off guard. When she does get spooked she bounces back to her normal self pretty quick.

One more fun fact about Chickpea that makes her just a little more adorable: She has all pink toe beans and paw pads, except for one perfectly oval spot, smack dab in the center of one of her paw pads!
