He tragically lost his home after a house fire, and his person passed away. Poor Chicken Nugget lived outdoors near the site of the fire, fending for himself, and was very thin and frightened when he was rescued. He has no teeth left, and may be a little hard of hearing certain sounds. This handsome, strong survivor will thrive in a calm, peaceful home where he can warm up at his own pace and build trust gradually. He is currently very afraid of people, may hide at first, and is not ready to be petted yet. But, likes to be in the same room with you and loves food. A cozy space, a predictable routine, and plenty of yummy meals and snacks go a long way with him!
