Chickadee (Neutered) (Photos July 4th 2026)

Chickadee is a cute male kitten who was surrendered to the HSOV on April 4, 2026 along with his siblings (Finch and Dove) because their owner had too many cats and couldn't take good care of them. Chickadee and his brother/sister were estimated to have been 8-weeks old at that time.<br/><br/>Chickadee has a brown tabby short-haired coat, a long ringed tail, and an adorable kitten face with dark golden eyes, a dusting of white his muzzle, a brown velvet nose, and long white whiskers.<br/><br/>This little lovebug has a fun-loving personality and loves to romp/play with his siblings with whom is currently sharing a triple-wide cage. Chickadee is good with other cats and also with children.<br/><br/>Chickadee was given vaccinations and Pyrantel wormer on June 2, 2026. He was given booster vaccines on July 1, 2026.<br/><br/>These 'big boy' pictures of Chickadee were taken on July 4th when HSOV Shelter Manager Tracy Moore accompanied him into our 'studio' for his photo session. Chickadee was a pleasure to photograph while he investigated the large wicker basket filled with Spring flowers. Chickadee was delighted when he found a new orange/green mouse toy and decided he would pose with it while displaying his cute playful personality.<br/><br/>Chickadee was neutered on July 6, 2026 and was also given rabies vaccine. He weighed 3.3 lbs that day.<br/><br/>Chickadee and his siblings are ready to find fabulous homes of their very own .. And would love to find someone with a big heart (and home) who might be interested in adopting them as a trio (smile).<br/><br/>Happy Update: Chickadee and his brother Finch were adopted together on July 11, 2026.
