Chichin's Story
Meet Chichin!

Born in August 2026, Chichin came into the world with cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), a neurological condition that affects her coordination and balance, giving her an adorable little wobble when she walks. But don't let that fool you! Chichin can do all the things a normal kitten can do, and she doesn't let a little extra wiggle get in the way of having fun.

Cerebellar hypoplasia is not contagious and is a non-progressive condition, meaning it won't get better or worse over time. It's simply one of the things that makes Chichin extra special!

Like any other kitten, Chichin is obsessed with wand toys, springs and pretty much anything she can kick around. She loves chasing her cat friends, watching birds out the window and playing until she can't keep her little eyes open anymore. When she's ready to recharge, she'll happily curl up somewhere soft, whether that's your couch or a cozy blanket on the floor.

Chichin does need a few accommodations to help her stay safe and comfortable in her forever home. She uses a modified litter box with a low entrance and high sides to help her stabilize herself. She also eats and drinks from a modified feeding stall that helps her maintain her balance, which her foster will provide for her adopter. Slippery floors can be tricky for her, so rugs are a must to help her move around confidently. Chichin cannot safely navigate stairs, so she'll need a home without stairs or secure gates to prevent falls and injuries.

Chichin is one of the sweetest, most playful kittens you'll meet, and she's ready to find a family who will love her exactly as she is. She may need a few extra accommodations, but in return, she'll bring you all the kitten antics, laughs and unconditional love your heart can handle.

Could Chichin be the special little wobble kitten you've been waiting for?

--
In hopes of promoting healthy lifelong social skills for cats, The Rescue Pack has a policy for kittens who are 4 months or younger that requires them to be adopted: As a pair, with a cat who is 3 years or younger, or adopted into a home with a cat who is 3 years or younger.

Our adoption fee includes spay/neuter and microchipping for all animals. Our adoption fee is $300 per cat.

All have had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer and treated for fleas and ear mites if needed. All cats are tested for FeLV/FIV at six months of age.
