Chewy's Story
Chewy has been spending some time in a foster home as the only pet. She seems to be thriving and loves to follow her foster dad around the house. Chewy is a huge fan of toys of all kinds. She loves to play just as much as she loves her cat naps. Chewy gives clear signs when she is overstimulated and is not a huge fan of rigorous petting. If she were to live with kids they would need to have an understanding that she doesn't appreciate constant pets and cuddles unless she is in the mood for it! At this time we aren't sure if Chewy wants a cat friend. If she were to go to a home with another cat, we reccomend a slow and proper introduction to help acclimate at her own pace. At the shelter she did not like dog friends so unless it is a dog that will complete ignore her and is low energy, she may not do well with a dog in the home.
