Chewbacca is a big, sweet, gentle boy who recently came to Best Pals after a sad change in his family's circumstances. He is incredibly affectionate and has the kindest soul. He is also a front paw declaw.<br/><br/>Shortly after arriving, we noticed Chewbacca was visiting his litter box a little more often than normal. To be safe, we brought him to our veterinarian. An exam revealed a bladder stone, along with the need for a dental cleaning and a few extractions.<br/><br/>The good news is that Chewbacca's stone was analyzed and found to be a common and often manageable type. With a special urinary diet, he should be able to stay healthy and prevent future stones.<br/><br/>This poor guy has lost his home, gone through surgery, and is adjusting to a whole new life.
