Chester (courtesy post, rehoming due to owner severe allergies)'s Story

From his current owner:

We love him very much, but due to medical issues we are being forced to rehome him. Chesterfield is a very sweet boy. From the moment we brought him home he always felt like he had lived here forever. No hiding or fear. He loves sleeping on his back and he has such a pretty belly. He usually curls up next to me and puts his head and paws on my leg. He loves pillows for his head. He doesn't really lay in my lap though. We feed him a spoonful of Friskies shreds wet food. (hates pate) 3x a day, 8, 3, and 10-11. We also have a 3 level tier that we put IAMs dry food that I leave all day. We don't give him any people food and he doesn't seem interested anyway. For treats we give him Feline Grass Treats catnip flavor, and Churu sticks. He absolutely loves both of them.
Chesterfield loves to play. He chases those flying toys and one funny thing is my husband brings home these cheap earplugs that we tie together because he just loves to play with them. We use more than one to give it length so he doesn't get our skin. Of course he's an indoor cat who is litter trained. A very clean cat. As soon as I wake up he tells me (literally) to open the windows for him so he can sit there. He loves sitting at the sliding glass door watching the birds, and critters. Since we have had him he hasn't been around other animals. So I don't know how he will be. He loves people and expects their attention. Does not like car rides. Gets sick. He sleeps with me and lays his head on the pillow next to me. If you say to him, "ready for bed" he'll sometimes come right then. Other times he'll come shortly thereafter. That's as much as I can think of right now. When I send the other pictures I'll include a!
We love Chesterfield. We've had him about 7 months now and want him to go to a wonderful home. We can't keep him because my allergies keep getting worse and my husband and I have health issues that make it difficult for us because of balance. He loves to play and run but sometimes he gets under our feet and we're afraid of falling. I am legally blind so I don't always see him. None of this is his fault because he is a great cat who deserves a great life. Hopefully, he can find the "purrfect" family.
