Meet Chester!<br/><br/>Chester, while nervous at first, is a sweet boy who enjoys the simple things in life - bird-watching, sitting in windows, and sunbathing. He also loves playtime - any toy will do, but his favorites are balls and string toys. He loves to eat and is treat motivated! Chester is a big cat, weighing in at 14 pounds, but he says that's just more kitty to love!<br/><br/>He has done well with both cats and dogs but tends to play a bit rough and would do best with critters who can match his play style. He has done well with children 5 and older but does get spooked when they cry or shout. Slow introductions to new places and faces are always recommended.<br/><br/>He should be fed measured portions of a high-quality cat food to help him maintain an appropriate weight and long-term health. Any necessary supplies or toys can be purchased from the TCHS Re-Tail Shoppe.<br/><br/>*Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling (320) 252-0896. An adoption hold reserves available animals for one day after the animal is ready to be adopted. More than one adoption hold may be placed on an available animal and will be honored in the order they were received. Adoption holds are $25 plus tax, are non-refundable, non-transferable and not applied toward the adoption fee.<br/><br/>**Minnesota sales tax and an administrative fee ($20 for cats/dogs and $10 for small animals) will be applied to all adoptions.
