Chessie's Story

Meet Chessie — a gloriously fluffy tortoiseshell queen with a huge personality. Found outside and given a second chance, Chessie is now looking for the perfect forever home where her quirky charm can truly shine.

Chessie is completely deaf, but don't tell her that — she lives life at full volume! She's endlessly entertained by anything that moves, from toy mice to her own freshly brushed fur floating through the air. Mealtime is also an event in the Chessie universe: she loves playing with her food before eating it, and her dramatic, animated water-drinking routine is guaranteed to make you laugh daily.

Underneath all that silliness is an incredibly cuddly, affectionate girl who absolutely adores attention and being close to her people. She's sweet, loving, and wonderfully weird in all the best ways.

Chessie would do best as the only cat in the home, where she can soak up all the love and attention herself. She will also do well with a dog that's bigger than she is. She's confident, playful, and full of tortie attitude, so she needs a home that appreciates a cat with personality.

If you're looking for a one-of-a-kind companion who will keep you entertained, cuddled, and constantly smiling, Chessie might just be your perfect match.
