I’m a 3-year-old PUREBRED SIAMESE with light sapphire blue eyes and a flame point coat. I’m also a professional cat wheel runner, so yes, these muscles are real. I’m the look-alike brother of Luke, but I’m the chattier one. I have a LOT to say, and I’m curious about everything!<br/><br/>I’ll be honest: I’m a little nervous at first, especially when people stand over me and walk around. If you sit down and let me come to you, we’ll be friends in no time. Slow and steady wins my heart, and the payoff for your patience is a loyal, bonded buddy. <br/><br/>My love language is the churu tube , and I’m known for drive-by pettings and the classic elevator butt. When I’m feeling shy, you’ll find me in a cozy cubby hideout. <br/><br/>What I need: a sweet resident cat to be my buddy and give me courage (or adopt my brother Luke and we’ll come as a package deal! ). A quiet home with people around, kids 13+ who respect cats, and no dogs, please. <br/><br/>Ready to take it slow with a really special boy? <br/><br/><br/>TRANSITION TIPS<br/>Chesney will absolutely need to start out in a "base camp" room, such as a quiet guest room, in a new home while he becomes familiar and comfortable with new people and other pets. He will let you know when he’s, ready to explore more of the home. Please research bringing home a new cat and proper cat introductions — YouTube has many great Jackson Galaxy videos to help. Foster home will collaborate via phone to help them acclimate. Please have patience during what could be a longer acclimation period.<br/><br/><br/>CARE REQUIREMENTS<br/>* Feeding & water: 4Health Pate, Open Farms High Protein Kibble and he enjoy’s the moving water of a ceramic water fountain.<br/>* Litter: Open-style boxes with unscented PetSmart clumping Grass Seed Litter (one box per cat, plus one extra).<br/>* Grooming: Combing / slicker once a week and a monthly nail trim.<br/><br/><br/>VETTING PROVIDED<br/>Exam, neutered, tested negative for FELV/FIV & heartworm, FVRCP and rabies vaccinated, and microchipped. Medical records are supplied at adoption completion.<br/><br/><br/>LOCATION AND ADOPTION<br/>Fostered in Valparaiso, Indiana (45 min from Chicago and SW Michigan, 2 hours from Wisconsin, Iowa & Ohio).<br/>Adoption fee is $500.00.<br/><br/>Could your home be the perfect match?
