Cheetara's Story

Meet Cheetara!! (case #14198)

Once upon a time, three tiny kittens arrived as strays with a very important mission: avoid humans at all costs.

At first, they were convinced that people were suspicious creatures. Approaching them resulted in dramatic hissy fits, speedy retreats, and the occasional "If I can't see you, you can't see me" strategy. Clearly, these kittens had not yet read the memo that humans are the providers of food, toys, and chin scratches.

To help them learn the truth, they headed off to a foster home where they lived with children, another cat, and lots of patient humans. Slowly but surely, the kittens discovered that people weren't scary after all. In fact, people were quite useful! Humans provided meals, wand toys, cozy beds, and endless opportunities for mischief.

Now, these three-month-old kittens have traded their wild-child ways for playful curiosity and are ready to find loving homes of their own. While they may still appreciate a little patience as they settle in, they've come a long way and continue to gain confidence every day.

These youngsters are playful, adventurous, and full of kitten energy. They would likely do well with other cats, could potentially adjust to cat-friendly dogs, and would thrive with families willing to let them continue learning that the world is a safe and wonderful place.

Cheetara is the unofficial leader of the kitten zoomie committee. This beautiful brown tabby girl is always on the lookout for her next adventure, whether that's chasing a toy mouse or investigating a suspicious crinkle sound from across the room. Cheetara may have started life as a tiny wilderness expert, but she's quickly discovering that indoor life comes with excellent benefits.

Ready to add some kitten chaos, laughter, and love to your home? Cheetara might be your perfect match! Meet her at our adoption partner, PetSmart. The address is 1779 Stone Church Road East, Stoney Creek.

**Please note: we only adopt within Ontario.
