She can be a bit shy when meeting new people or exploring new places, but give her a little patience and she’ll quickly show you just how special she is.<br/><br/>Once she feels safe, Cheeta becomes quite the chatterbox! She loves to “talk” to her people with adorable chirps and little cheetah-like trills, always letting you know what she’s thinking or asking for a little extra attention.<br/><br/>She’s playful, affectionate, and loves a good cuddle session after she’s burned off some energy with toys and games. Watching her confidence grow is one of the most rewarding parts of getting to know her.<br/><br/>Cheeta is looking for a patient, loving family who will let her settle in at her own pace. Once she trusts you, you’ll have a loyal companion who fills your home with sweet snuggles, playful antics, and the cutest chirps you’ve ever heard.<br/><br/>We want to make adopting easy for you! Here’s our application: https://form.jotform.com/232837730565159 Once you complete it, we’re on it! We’ll call your vet (or personal reference) the next business day. Then we like to do a brief video chat (FaceTime if you have it) so you can show us your new pet’s home - where they’ll sleep, eat, and play. During our chat, we can also give you tips or answer questions about how to successfully integrate your new family member into your household, especially if you have other pets. Our adoption fee is $150 and covers our costs of spay/neuter, vaccinations, vet exam, and supplies. (Once old enough, all our cats are current on their shots and have been spayed/neutered.) We’re a strictly no-kill shelter just for cats. We’re cage-free, donation-based, and volunteer-powered. We’re small but special and we’re glad you found us!
