She’s friendly, affectionate, litter trained, and has so much love to give.<br/><br/>Cheeky Monkey is FIV-positive, but that doesn’t stop her from enjoying life! She loves spending time outside, though she cannot be allowed to freely wander because FIV can be transmitted to other cats. With proper supervision, she could potentially enjoy safe outdoor time.<br/><br/>She’s a wonderful family girl who does well with children, dogs, and other cats. Because she is FIV+, she should only live with other FIV-positive cats unless a veterinarian advises otherwise. She’s not a fan of car rides, but once she arrives at her destination, she’s ready to shower you with love! <br/><br/>If you’re looking for a friendly, affectionate companion who loves attention and will happily be by your side, Cheeky Monkey may be your girl!<br/><br/>At the Humane Society of Midland County, all animals adopted will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations prior to an adoption. Dogs over 6 months of age will be heartworm tested, and any dog with a positive test will receive treatment at no additional cost.<br/>No Appointment Needed to Meet Adoptable Animals!<br/>We have open adoption hours, and walk-ins are always welcome! While filling out an application lets us know you're interested in adopting, it does not hold an animal, and applications are not required to meet the available animals. We do highly recommend bringing any dogs that reside in the same household, or that will be around commonly if you are meeting a new dog companion.<br/>Want to Know if I’m Still Available?<br/>Call the shelter at (989)-835-1877 to confirm my availability.
