Checkers's Story
Checkers is a young kitty whose been steadily gaining confidence since he arrived with his brother. At first, Checkers wouldn't let anyone near him without tensing up or running away. It's taken a little over a month, but he's finally showing signs of trust-letting us get closer to him, slow blinking at us, and being out in the open more. These small, meaningful steps reveal a gentle, loving personality that's waiting to shine in a patient, forever home.

Personality & Traits
~Energy Level: Low
~Great with: Cats; Calm, quiet environment
~Good to Know: Checkers is still learning to trust new friends, so it may take him longer than usual to get comfortable in his new home.
