Chaucer & Doyle: Two Dapper Gentlemen 's Story

Bonded brothers Chaucer and Doyle are so cute youd think they were works of fiction, but these literary littermates are real and ready for their forever home. This pair is the total package: playful, affectionate, and fun!

Chaucer (tuxedo with white socks) and Doyle (cowboy sporting a tiny goatee) are energetic, 7-month-old male kittens. They spend their days playing together, running through tunnel toys, and batting at every crinkle ball and coil they can find. But they always find time for their people. Their foster mom says they love affection in fact, they demand it! They turn into jelly when picked up and will comfortably sit in her arms and purr.

Rescued from the Bronx, NY these boys have come a long way. They will need some time to warm up to new environments and new people. They still get spooked by loud noises and unpredictable movements. Because of this, we do not feel they would be a good fit for a home with young children. Once settled in, we are confident theyll continue to blossom in their forever home.

True to their Bronx roots, these boys are unafraid to ask for what they want usually treats and attention. Their foster describes them as adorably chirpy and chatty. These little entertainers will sing for their supper. They will rub your legs, begging for petting until you comply. You can't help but be happy when they greet you.

Both Chaucer and Doyle are neutered, microchipped, FIV / FELV negative and up to date on vaccinations. They get along well with other cats but have not been tested with dogs. They are currently fostered in Southern Connecticut but can travel for the right home.

Born in August of 2025, this pair has been waiting for their forever home for a long time. If you are looking for kittens without the hectic days of babies, give these boys a chance, They'd love to be yours.

To apply, please use this link: https://form.jotform.com/250073732465152
The adoption fee for the pair is $425.

Adoption Costs: Our fee is $225 for a cat or kitten and $425 for a pair. Kittens under 6 months old will be adopted out in pairs or to home with a current resident cat. Senior or Special Need Cats: When thinking about adopting a cat, don’t automatically rule out senior or special needs cats. These animals have a lower chance of being adopted over a fluffy kitten, but they are just as deserving of a loving home.
