Hi! My name is Chatty and I'm looking for a loving home to call my own! <br/><br/>I am seven years old and I've been at the shelter since July 5th.<br/><br/>I'm a big handsome buddy that can be a bit shy at first, but if you spend a couple minutes with me my goofy and sweet purrsonality starts to shine through! Even though I enjoy doing my own thing and being independent, I also crave love and attention and really enjoy pets! I love to perch on a tall shelf or cat tower and watch over my kingdom. I absolutely LOVE to play, which helps me get some of my energy out! I really am a sweetie pie, but tend to get overwhelmed when people don't read my body language, so I'm looking for a home that's knowledgeable about cats and willing to give me my space when I want it. <br/><br/>My ideal home would be without children younger than 16, as I tend to get overstimulated and that might make little kids nervous. My home needs to understand my (sometimes chaotic) behaviors and be willing to take me as I am, which is a fun and entertaining king who brings an exciting "wild card" energy to the party! I do require a prescription food, so I am required to have a vet appointment set up with your primary veterinarian before adoption to ensure continued care. It is not known how I would do living with other animals.<br/><br/>If you are interested in adopting me, please visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or you can call the Adoption Team at 218-722-5341 as early as 10:30 AM and place a nonrefundable $25 hold towards my adoption fee to put you first in-line to adopt! Our adoption team is available via phone Tuesday-Friday from 10:30am-6:00pm and Saturday-Sunday 10:30am-4:00pm. Our adoption process is first come first serve so long as the interested party is a good fit for the animals needs. <br/><br/>CHATTY'S ADOPTION FEE: $125 plus tax. This fee is used for the extensive costs associated with vetting and otherwise caring for Chatty and future pets at our shelter. Every adopter from Animal Allies receives a pet that has been spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Our pets also receive dental work or other treatments when necessary.
