Chatterbox's Story
Meet Chatterbox!

Orange and white Domestic Shorthair adult 10yo Cat

He has a chip, BD 5/29/16. Vaccines are up to date, see file for certificate dated 1-9-25. His current cat parent cannot continue to care for him due to her health issues.

Chatterbox is a very loving and sweet cat. He has a really nice personality, he is very social and likes people. He likes to sit on your lap and will be your best friend if you scratch his cheeks, rub under his chin, scratch his chest and rub his tummy. He is very playful. His favorite games include chasing crumpled paper balls and hunting-games. He likes hide and seek for his toys moving under or peeking out from under a towel. His favorite toys are a catnip strawberry, catnip banana, catnip chewing rope. He likes to play chase with the wire Cat Dancer, the fishing pole with the blue feather, the fishing pole toy with the green crinkle balls at the end of the string. (his toys will accompany him)

His current cat parent called him Chatterbox because during the first month she adopted him he was very talkative, probably telling her all about his life up to this point. His talking has reduced but he is still talkative; mostly mews and murfs, which is adorable.

His back right leg is nonfunctioning. I don’t know what caused this issue but it doesn’t seem to bother him. He is quite mobile and gets around just fine. The wellness check-ups in his file have shown him in good health overall.

Right now, he is eating 3oz Fancy Feast Gravy Lovers Beef and Chicken flavors, he also likes Whitefish and Salmon, one can for breakfast and one can for dinner. He always has Purina One Indoor Advantage Senior 7+ Kibble in an automatic self-feeder available for him. He seems to eat his wet food better when using the stainless food bowl with the very short sides, he also likes the stainless water bowl. He currently uses Pretty Litter in his litter box. (his food and water bowls will accompany him)

If you’re interested in adopting Chatterbox, please fill out our pre-adoption application here: https://www.pause4pawsmn.org/adopt-a-pet
