Meet Chase

Chase is a good guy with a traumatic past. Recently a group of cat trappers were working on getting a mom and kittens in Quincy. Into the trap walks Chase, hungry as can be! He was brought to our shelter and upon intake it was evident this guy had some major trauma to his mouth.

Thanks to our quick moving vet team, Chase was scheduled for surgery. His jaw was exposed and cleaned up, he needed some teeth removed. We suspect he may have been hit by a car which caused this facial trauma and tons of pain for poor Chase.

Now feeling so much better, Chase is looking for a home! This guys I guessed to be about 2-years-old and is a fun fella. He is sweet and outgoing. Chase loves to play with strings toys and is very affectionate.

Chase is FIV+. Chase has shown to have some food sensitivities and we do have him on a prescription diet. He may not need this in the future but for now, it will be best to keep him on it to keep him skin looking good. The shelter can likely help provide this food as we do receive many donations of it.

This guy is handsome and has a great personality to match. We are sorry he had to suffer at all but we are glad he came to us, getting the help he needed! Now let's get this fantastic feline into a great home.
