Charming's Story

Charming is a 2y old, chill, affectionate boy. He survived a dog attack so cannot go to a dog home or a home where a dog visits regularly. Confident, protective, and low-maintenance. He also has lingering food insecurity from his many months on the streets scavenging for trash to eat (he has no feral skills). Aside from those two issues which are easily dealt with with planning and patience, Charming is the perfect man. He is confident with strangers (no hiding), adapts quickly, thrives on attention and affection, and is a lazy, cool guy. Can be a solo cat or have a cat friend. Felv/fiv negative, fully vetted. He wants someone to love, could it be you?

Sunset Park Cats's Adoption Policy

If you are interested in adopting one of our cats, the first step is to fill out our adoption application. Once we receive your completed application, the next step is to set up a meet-and-greet. These days we are doing meet-and-greets via Zoom. In-person visits can be set up as well! Please note: Our adoption fees are $175 for a single cat, $250 for a pair of adults, $400 for a pair of kittens, payable at the time you adopt the cat to help cover our costs.

Sunset Park Cats is a 501(c)(3) organization focused on reducing the population of feral, stray, and homeless cats on the streets of Sunset Park, Brooklyn. We work to achieve that goal through TNR (trap-neuter-return), fostering, adoption, community engagement, training, and education.
