These days, he's much more confident and will happily approach for attention and ask for pets. He isn't a particularly vocal cat and has a calm, low-key personality, making him a great companion for someone looking for a more relaxed feline friend.<br/><br/>Because Charming can be easily startled by loud noises or sudden movements, he would do best in a calm home where his boundaries are respected and he can take things at his own pace. When startled or overwhelmed, he may hide or hiss, but he has never shown aggression toward people. With patience and a little warning before handling, Charming is comfortable being picked up, even if he'd generally prefer to keep his paws on the ground.<br/><br/>Charming may be able to live with other calm, cat-savvy animals, though his compatibility with dogs and other cats is still being evaluated.
