Charm's Story

Meet Charm (AKA "Crazy Eyes") * Don't let the nickname fool you—Charm is one of the sweetest little souls you'll ever meet.

Charm has been in foster care for over a year, patiently waiting for someone to see the beautiful cat hiding behind her shy exterior. She arrived with her two siblings, who were quickly adopted, and losing them made her even more timid. But with lots of love and patience from her foster mom, she's slowly begun to come out of her shell. Now, Charm has her own adorable ways of showing affection. She loves sitting next to her foster mom while she eats, just enjoying the company. She'll even wrap her paws around her foster mom's legs, giving playful little nibbles and sweet kisses with tiny licks. It's her special way of saying, "I like you." She's not ready to be a cuddle bug just yet. Pets and being held still make her nervous, but every day she grows a little braver.

With a patient family who understands that love can't be rushed, Charm has the potential to become an incredible companion. Until then, she'd be the perfect friend for another cat who could use a buddy. Having a feline companion helps her feel safe, and she'd love a home where she can quietly blossom at her own pace. Charm isn't looking for someone who expects a perfect cat on day one. She's looking for someone who believes that the best relationships are built on trust, patience, and unconditional love.

If you're willing to let Charm write her story at her own pace, you'll discover that the quietest hearts often have the most love to give.

She's in Anchorage.
