The story of Charlotte is one of resilience. She was found abandoned in a remote area while very pregnant, and despite being just a tiny girl who was barely out of her own kittenhood, she safely raised her babies. Now it is her turn to find a loving home where she can simply be a cherished companion.<br/><br/>Charlotte can be a little shy when meeting new people, but she warms up quickly. Once she trusts you, you will be greeted with constant purrs, adorable little chuffs, and plenty of affectionate headbutts. She loves being close to her people and will happily climb into your lap, making ""biscuits"" as she settles in for cuddle time.<br/><br/>Because she gets so excited about affection, Charlotte can occasionally become a little overstimulated. When that happens, she may gently swat at you (with no claws) to let you know she needs a short break before she's ready for more pets. Understanding her cues will help her continue to blossom into the loving companion she wants to be.<br/><br/>One of her most charming features is her adorable short back leg. Give her scratches along the side of her chin and neck on that side, and you will be rewarded with the cutest little leg twitch-it is impossible not to smile!<br/><br/>Charlotte may do well in a home with younger cats or kittens after a slow, proper introduction.
