Charlie, Pearl... and Doug's Story

Meet Charlie, Pearl... and Doug!

Pearl and Charlie were siblings who came into foster care after being rescued from a home with too many cats and not enough resources. Doug arrived a few months later after his two sisters were adopted. Apparently, all three were destined to lose their original families—because they were busy finding each other.

Pearl and Charlie quickly welcomed Doug into their little family, and now they are inseparable. They eat together, sleep together, play together, wrestle together and follow their foster around like a tiny furry entourage.

And yes... there's always Doug.

These three started out very shy, but they've blossomed into gentle, trusting cats who have come a long way with their people skills.

Pearl is the independent sunbather and professional bird-and-squirrel watcher. She loves being near her human, just preferably with a little personal space. Put a sunny patch on the floor and shell happily flop over and expose her belly to the sun. Priorities.

Charlie is the sweet, curious one. He likes being around his human, enjoys pets on his terms and can usually be found lounging, cuddling with his siblings or wrestling with one of them. He also has plenty to say when dinner is being prepared.

Doug is the outgoing one—and an enthusiastic leg-rubber. He loves attention, loves to talk and LOVES food. He eats his meal at record speed and then believes it is his civic duty to inspect everyone else's bowl.

In fact, food is the quickest way to get all three of them to follow you anywhere. Treat bag? Suddenly they're professional social butterflies.

What makes this trio so special is that they chose each other. Their bond has helped each of them become more confident, and we want to honor that by finding them a forever home where they can stay together.

If you're looking for three sweet, gentle, entertaining cats who come as a complete package—with built-in companionship and a shared appreciation for snacks—Pearl, Charlie & Doug are waiting to meet you.

And yes... Doug comes with them.

--
Pearl & Charlie have tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Pearl has been spayed, and Charlie has been neutered. Our adoption fee includes spay/neuter and microchipping for all animals. Our adoption fee is $300 per cat.

All have had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer and treated for fleas and ear mites if needed. If you are interested in meeting Pearl, please go to our website and fill out a cat application.

**Please note that the adoption fee for this bonded pair is $600 (each cat has an adoption fee of $300).

https://www.therescuepack.org/cat-adoption-application

The foster will then review the application and, if deemed a good fit, will initiate a phone call with the applicant. If, after the phone call, both applicant and foster feel it is a good fit, a meeting with the animal will be scheduled. Once the meeting happens, and the approval from both foster and applicant are given to move forward - our adoptions team will send an electronic payment link to the adopter. The foster and the adopter will agree on an official adoption date - and the animal will now live happily ever after! If an applied for animal is no longer available, our team will assist in trying to find another good fit! If an application is not a good fit, the applicant will also be notified.
