Charlie's Story

This is Charlie. Charlie LOVES butt pats, belly rubs, and taking things easy. Some of his other favorite hobbies include bird and squirrel watching, tussling with toys, snuggling, and making friends with everyone he meets. Charlie has positive experiences living with another cat in his previous home; they loved cuddling and grooming each other, so he may like a cat companion, but is doing wonderfully solo! Loud noises can be a stressor, but his foster says he's gaining confidence in this, too. Social, sweet, and super chill, what more could you ask for?!

Charlie has a condition known as Feline Idiopathic Cystitis (FIC) and requires specialized medical care. FIC is an inflammation of the bladder that may flare up and cause pain, discomfort, or irregular urinary habits. FIC may be managed through prescription diets, minimizing stress, and regular checkups with your private vet. Charlie's condition is stable and has had no recent issues!

This pet has been patiently waiting for a family for longer than we'd like, making them a special member of our Length of Stay Program. To help them start their next chapter, they'll go home with plenty of goodies to make the transition easier, such as supplies, enrichment items, or other adoption perks. We know their perfect match is out there-we just can't wait for them to find each other!

Charlie is spending some time outside of the shelter in foster care! Interested in adopting?
